FOSTival by evolve Therapeutic Children’s Services.

FOSTival is the first ever family festival started by a local fostering service in the Southeast and is presented by evolve Therapeutic Children’s Services. 

FOSTival boasts a range of activities including minigolf, archery, axe-throwing, face-painting, crafting and live music, providing fun for the whole family that is at no cost to you!

And the reason for this new initiative?

So far this year, evolve Therapeutic Children’s Services have received 60 referrals for children and young people daily. That’s over 60 times a day a child or young person needs a loving home or safe place to stay.

But this isn’t just a number. This represents individual children and young people with their own personalities, ambitions, dreams, abilities, interests and hobbies.

evolve are hoping that FOSTival will raise awareness of the shortage of 6500 foster families across the UK, as it is now believed that a child enters care every 15 minutes. 

FOSTival will also support local, independent businesses alongside raising awareness and money for evolve’s charity partners- The Young Lives Foundation, who advocate for vulnerable young people across Kent, and the East Kent Hospitals Charity, who raise money to fund projects for wards and services that fall outside of the NHS Budget.
